Reenactor's Beginning
Each of us most likely began our journey toward the playing in a living history gorup from a story or history lesson about some
Medieval adventure or place in time.
But whatever venue lead us to want to know more, it solemly stirred the desire to enjoy every aspect of that era.
Quite possibly that happenstance was a simple outing to a park where a fighting group had gathered for practice, costumed in the past and playing in an era we had only dreamed about until that moment.
Now, we can play our hearts desire for real.
Now, we can let the adventure truly begin.

or...How I gave in to the inner me !
For any who want to play the weekend warrior, knight, or lady, that desire is flamed innocently enough by a book read, or a movie seen where a certain character reached inside and grabbed us.
My character grabbing personality was a knight from King Arthur's time.
I happened upon a war group practicing in a nearby park, the Queen and her Lady's were having tea as they watched. It was so glorious,, one can't imagine what's its like to actually play in that time period.
